Thoreau mostra uma visão romântica e adaptada aos problemas do século XXI em que as linhas que guiam o pensamento das sociedades conduzem para a sobre-exploração dos recursos sem nunca olhar para consequências a longo prazo que afectarão as gerações futuras e o equilíbrio natural do nosso lar, a que chamamos Terra. |
